The Story of Your Life

A 5-Week Online Memoir Workshop

Tuesdays, January 6 - February 3, 5-8 PM

Are you longing to write your life story? This five-week nonfiction workshop will help you get started. The workshop is open to all skill levels and is designed especially for those who might not consider themselves “writers,” but feel a pull to commit their life stories to paper. Everyone’s story matters, and each life story makes up part of the huge tapestry of our human story. Writing your life story can serve as a legacy for your friends and family. It can be a tool for examination and self-reflection. It can lead to moments of discovery and celebration, and even bring a sense of closure and healing. If you’ve lived a long life, then you already have a treasure trove of experiences, stories and memories to draw from. Maybe what you need now is motivation and accountability. Maybe you need ideas for what to include and ways to organize your narrative. Maybe you need encouraging feedback, or craft techniques to make your writing more engaging. If you’ve ever wanted to get your life story down on paper, join us now and start writing!
