Intersectionality, Identity and Memoir: A Presentation

  • USM Portland, Maine (map)

An IN-PERSON Presentation

Complexity is all around us and in us and crafting it into a personal narrative can be an arduous, emotional journey. How do we embrace the challenge to not tell a single story about ourselves and instead pay homage to the diversity and complexity of our own individual stories and identities? Through this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to learn how one author navigated intersectionality and identity to weave the many facets of their individual’s life into a narrative that connects and inspires.

+ PLEASE NOTE This talk will occur in person at USM’s campus in Portland, Maine. The week of the event, participants will receive an email telling them the exact location.
