Here at MWPA, our mission is to enrich the cultural life of Maine by supporting writers and the literary arts.  Our hope is that the MWPA website will offer instructive and useful information for writers, aspiring writers, publishers, and readers throughout the state of Maine.

The 2010 Maine Literary Awards deadline has been extended to February 28, 2010.

Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance will present awards to writers in 13 categories, including Youth and Unpublished categories.
